ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation / complaint given by the petitioner dated 14.08.2023, wherein the petitioner has sought for non-traceable certificate.

2. Heard Mrs.R.Meenakshi Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner has given a complaint before the third respondent on 14.8.2023 seeking for non-traceable certificate on the ground that the original parent documents were lost and hence, unless non-traceable certificate is obtained from the police, the petitioner will not be able to proceed further to deal with the property.

4. Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to attend the enquiry before the 3rd respondent along with all the necessary documents. The 3rd respondent shall conduct the enquiry in line with the circular Memorandum dated 01.04.2022 issued by the Director General of Police. Ultimately, if the 3rd respondent is satisfied after the enquiry, Non-traceable Certificate shall be issued to the petitioner. This process shall be completed by the 3rd respondent within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
