Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 2nd respondent to give police protection for survey, fixing boundary and lay boundary stones in S.No.130/3C2 measuring about 20 cents, comprised in Patta No.1690, situated at Karadichithur Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Villupuram.

ORDER

Seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to give police protection for survey, fixing boundary and lay boundary stones in S.No.130/3C2 measuring about 20 cents, comprised in Patta No.1690, situated at Karadichithur Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Villupuram, the petitioner is before this Court. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, CSR No.669 of 2019 was issued and after conducting investigation, the same was closed.

3.Considering the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant the prayer sought for by the petitioner. However, if the surveyor is appointed by the Revenue Department, on the request made by the petitioner, after payment of necessary charges, and if the surveyor is having any difficulty or hindrance to survey the land, he can very well seek for police protection before the authorities concerned.

4.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
