The petitioner/accused, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 143, 188, 353, 448 and 506(i) IPC, in Crime No.8 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the occurrence had taken place, on 04.04.2015 at 8.30 hrs before the official residence of the Hon'ble Chief Justice of our High Court. In this connection, certain members of the Bar have been included as accused based on the complaint of the Officer incharge of guard viz., Tr.D.Wilson Jabadoss, now his statement has been recorded. In this connection, the work of the investigation officer has also been completed. In Crl. O.P.Nos.9947 and 12003 of 2015, certain co-accused were granted bail.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is a Member of the Bar and he will not indulge in any unlawful activity. It is further submitted that certain accused have already been granted bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the co-accused have been granted bail by this Court with certain conditions.

5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Ordered as under:- (i) Anticipatory bail granted.

(ii) Petitioner shall surrender before the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Saidapet, Chennai, within 15 days of receipt of a copy of the order;

(iii) Petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said Magistrate;

(iv) Petitioner shall report before the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai on Monday and Friday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

(v) At the time of executing the bail bond without prejudice to the defense contention the petitioner will file an affidavit before the said Magistrate to the effect that he will conduct himself in such a way that he will not come under adverse notice.
