ORDER

The petition has been filed, seeking to condone the delay of 121 days in filing the revision petition against the order passed by the learned XIV Metropolitan https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai dated 20.02.2019 in Crl.MP.No.3725/2018 in C.C.No.18403/2004.

2.When the matter was taken up today, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that subsequent to the dismissal of the petition, seeking for discharge, the trial Court has framed charges and till date, out of 5 witnesses, 4 have been examined. 4.In view of the above fact that the charges have been framed and 5 witnesses have been examined so far, there is no purpose in keeping the petition pending and hence, the petition filed seeking to condone the delay of 121 days in filing the revision petition is dismissed. Consequently, the revision petition at the SR stage is rejected.
