The petitioner herein, who is an accused in Crime No.33 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police arrested on 06.06.2025 for the offence under Sections 64(2)(m), 87, 49 of BNS read with Section 91, 94, 318 of BNS Act [ Corresponding Sections 376, 366, 109, 315, 318, 417 of IPC] and Sections 5(l), 1/3
5(j)(ii) read with Section 6(1) of POCSO Act, seeks bail. 2.The petitioner herein had developed love affair with the minor victim girl and has impregnated her and that she was 7 months pregnant and later illegal termination of pregnancy was attempted by the quack doctors. Thus, the matter came to light and the case was registered.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation yet to be completed and the medical report awaited.
4. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and the medical report is awaited, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 19.08.2025 sma 2/3
