ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent to take necessary action and to file the charge sheet in Cr.No.874/2024, within a time framed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that on 02.05.2023, one Rajathi, Natchiyappan, Mohammed Yusuf Nawas and others abused the petitioner in filthy language mentioning his caste name and warned him not to park the car inside the premises because untouchables should not claim equality. In this regard the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the sixth respondent police on 05.04.2023, the same was registered in Crime No.874 of 2024 on 24.08.2024. The grievance of the petitioner is that though First Information Report was registered, no investigation has been done so far and final report has not been filed. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition for a direction to file the final report.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] would submit that the investigation is almost completed and they will file the final report within a period of eight weeks.

4. Considering the submissions of the learned Government Advocate, the fourth respondent is directed to complete investigation and file final report before the Court concerned within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
