This Criminal Original Petition has been filed calling for the records relating to Crime No.39 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Coimbatore and to quash the same.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the first respondent had completed the investigation in Crime No.39 of 2017 registered for the offence under Section 420 of IPC and filed a final report on 11.03.2022 and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.371 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-VII, Coimbatore and it is pending for trial.

3. Therefore, no investigation is pending on the file of the first respondent. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition

is closed.
