This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to regularize the services of the petitioners and to fix the time scale of pay and to grant all the attendant service and monetary benefits. 2.Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.S.Ravikumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent, Mr.A.Anandam, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 2 and 3 and Mr.S.Prabhakaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 4 and 5.
3.The case of the petitioners is that they are working in the Employees Cooperative Societies. The 1st petitioner is working as a Clerk from 11.02.2003. The 2nd petitioner is working as a Junior Assistant from 15.02.2003. The 3rd petitioner is working as a Clerk from 03.05.2004. The 4th petitioner is working as a Clerk from 05.09.2003. The 5th petitioner is working as a Clerk from 23.12.2003 and the 6th petitioner is working as a Secretary from 03.10.2005. All of them are working in 2nd to 5th respondents Society.

4.The grievance of the petitioners is that in spite of putting a long period of service of more than 20 years, they have not been regularised. The petitioners are also relying upon some of the orders passed by this Court where directions were issued to regularise the services of those Cooperative employees who were working continuously for more than 480 days. Since the representation made by the petitioners was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the Circular dated 30.08.2007 issued by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies and the earlier orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.(MD)No.250 of 2015 dated 27.04.2015 and the later order passed by this Court in W.P.No.23823 of 2023, dated 19.07.2024, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioners on 24.08.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and in line with the relevant Circular / Orders passed by this Court and take a final decision, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.The petitioners shall make individual representation to the 1st respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order. 7.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
