This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the Petitioner/Claimant praying to condone the delay of 963 days in preferring the Appeal in C.M.A.SR.No.121140 of 2025 against the Judgment and Decree dated 11.08.2022 and passed in M.C.O.P.No.6720 of 2014 on the file of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, IV Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai.

2. Mr.T.Jayaram, learned counsel appeared on behalf of 2nd Respondent/Insurance Company submitted that he has no objection to this petition being allowed.

3. Having been satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, delay is condoned and this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.

4. It is made clear that after the numbering of this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, if this Court enhances the compensation which was awarded by the Tribunal, Petitioner/Claimant will not be entitled to get any interest for the default period.
