PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue Patta in respect of the property of the premises bearing Old Door No.4 New Door No.11 in Morrison 1st Street, Alandur, Chennai 600016 measuring an extent of 2196 Square Feet, together with building 1000 Square Feet Plinth area in Ground Floor T.S.No.196, 197 and 290 Ward No.A, Block No.3 comprised in Surrey No.10/1 Paimash No.720 723 and 855 situated at Adambakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District (Chennai Corporation Limit) by the considering of the petitioner's application dated 22.08.2024 within period.

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2 The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondent to issue patta in respect of property bearing Old Door No.4, New Door No.11 in Morrison 1st Street, Alandur, Chennai 600016 measuring an extent of 2196 Square Feet, together with building 1000 Square Feet Plinth area in Ground Floor comprised in T.S.No.196, 197 and 290 Ward No.A, Block No.3, comprised in Surrey No.10/1, Paimash Nos.720, 723 and 855 situated at Adambakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District by considering her representation dated 22.08.2024.
3. According to the petitioner, she acquired right over the said property through settlement deed executed by her husband dated 29.11.2016 and she submitted a representation on 22.08.2024 seeking issue of patta in her name and the same has not been considered. Hence, she is before this Court. 2/4
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondent, submitted that if the petitioner submits proper online application, the same will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, she is directed to submit an online application seeking issuance of patta within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The respondent shall consider the online application and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such online application.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 23.09.2024 Index : Yes/No nr 3/4
