This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case on the complaint dated 31.03.2016, given by the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 31.03.2016, it is seen that these petitioners had given Power of Attorney to the opposite parties, sometime in the year 2011 and derived certain advantages. Thereafter, it is alleged by the petitioners that the opposite parties had not given the balance consideration, that is due.

4. In a case of this nature, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent-Police to register an FIR. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedies in the manner known to law.
