ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to grant necessary police protection to the petitioner, her family and to her property based on the representation dated 13.04.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. It is seen that the petitioner has made a complaint as against the opposite party, pursuant to which, a case in Cr.No. 20 of 2009 was registered against the opposite party for offences under Sections 447, 506(i) of IPC and the case ended in acquittal. Thereafter, the petitioner has come up with the representation dated 13.04.2016 seeking police protection. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. In the considered opinion of this Court, in a case of this nature, a direction cannot be issued to the respondent police to give police protection. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. It is open to the petitioner to approach Civil Forum, if there is any aggression, as alleged by him.
