By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

2. In the affidavit in support of this petition, it is stated that after the death of the parental mother of the petitioner Mrs.Nagammal on 03.10.2013, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondent on 28.05.2015, seeking to issue legalheirship certificate. But, till date no response is forthcoming from the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions made herein, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 28.05.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
