Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 24.05.2023 issued to construct the drainage properly and connect the drainage to the outlet and close the same so that public can utilize the pathway. ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.I.Ram Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the drainage has not been properly constructed so as to connect the same to the outlet. A representation to that effect has been given to the third respondent.

3. Learned State Government Pleader submits that the third respondent would decide the representation on its own merits, preferably within a period of six months.
