Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 to 4 to forthwith order closure of the above mentioned 5th and 6th respondent schools running without any affiliation as prescribed by the Tamilnadu Recognized Private School (Regulation Act 1973) and further direct the respondents 1 to 4 to admit those students from these unrecognized schools into recognized schools. ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.Karthikeyan Sekar, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4; and, Mr.S.Prabu, learned counsel for Dr.G.Krishnamurthy, learned counsel for respondent No.5.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the recognition to the fifth respondent school is not granted and after the end of the present academic year 2023-24, action would be taken by the authorities as against the fifth respondent school.

3. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.28695 of 2019 is closed.
