The Original Petition has been filed seeking succession certificate relating to the shares in the name of the father of the 2nd and 3rd petitioners/husband of the 1st petitioner, Bhupindar Singh Kalra, who died on 17.03.2020 at Chennai.

He left behind Fixed Deposit in Bank of India necessitating succession certificate to be obtained by the petitioners herein. After following due procedures, the petitioners were directed to tender evidence. Accordingly, the 2nd petitioner was examined as P.W.1 and he filed Exs.P2 and P3, death certificate and legal heirship certificate of his father and Ex.P1, document relating to Fixed Deposit in Bank of India. The petitioners also examined the 3rd petitioner as P.W.2. 3.

Taking all the factors into consideration, the Original Petition stands allowed. Registry to issue Succession Cerificate in accordance with rules.
