ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in CC.No.104 of 2015 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Salem.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that the petitioner herein is A1, who is similarly placed as A2 and this Court, in Crl.O.P.No. 16261 of 2022, vide order dated 27.07.2022, has already quashed the proceedings in C.C.No.104 of 2015 against A2 and that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the impugned proceedings pending against the petitioner herein, who is arrayed as A1.

In view of the above, the impugned proceedings as against the petitioner (A1) stands quashed and this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 18-12-2025 Index: Y es/No Speaking/Non-speaking order RPP To
