O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to grant permission and provide police protection to the petitioner association for conducting the power lifting championship 2023 event from 22.09.2023 to 24.09.2023 between 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 pm for three days.

When the matter came up for hearing on 20.09.2023, this Court directed the learned Government Advocate to take instructions from the respondent police and accordingly, the matter was posted for hearing today.

When the matter was taken up today, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the request made by the petitioner will be considered and that police protection will be granted by imposing 2/4

reasonable conditions.

Recording the above submissions, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of. No costs.
