Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India 1/4

praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third, fourth and fifth respondents to issue patta for 21 cents in S.Nos.598/6 & 7 in Thiruputkuzhi Village, Kancheepuram and issue a fresh patta in terms of the orders of the second respondent passed in Na.Ka.2117/2024/A3, dated 26.06.2024. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 3 to 5 to issue patta for the land comprised in S.Nos.598/6 & 7, measuring an extent of 21 cents, situated at Thiruputkuzhi Village, Kancheepuram and to issue a fresh patta in terms of the order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.2117/2024/A3, dated 26.06.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the sixth respondent submitted that in respect of the very same property, civil cases are pending. Though the civil suit filed by the sixth respondent was dismissed by the Trial Court, an appeal against the said dismissal is now pending.

3. It is seen that the appeal against the order passed by the Trial Court is pending against the petitioner. Therefore, the request made by the petitioner 2/4

cannot be considered. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh application, subject to the result of the civil cases.

4. In the result, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
