..Respondent(s) PRAYER : To declare that the action of the respondents in shifting the petitioner to diesel filling work and denying him the diesel filling work from 10.02.2016 as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to provide the petitioner suitable light work such as water bottles sales work or desk / Office work which will not involve and require any standing, in commensurate with his health and physical condition with effect from 10.02.2016, with continuity of service, back wages and all other attendant benefits, award costs.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a declaration that the action of the respondents in shifting the petitioner to diesel filling work and thereafter denying him such work from 10.02.2016 is illegal.

2. During the pendency of the Writ Petition, the petitioner retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. Consequently, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter.
