ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to complete the proceedings pending in Na.Ka.No.1134/A2/2024 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

Heard Mr.Elanjchezhien J, learned counsel for the petitioner and MR.E.Veda Bagath Singh, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] for 3rd respondent. 3.

The petitioner had given a domestic violence complaint and based on the same, the 3rd respondent enquired and it was

forwarded to the 2nd respondent for preliminary enquiry. The 2nd respondent initiated proceedings and sent notice to the petitioner and the 4th respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent is not co-operating and as a result, the 2nd respondent is not able to complete the proceedings. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of grievance expressed by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry and to come to the conclusion within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
