Heard Mr. N.Srinivasan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. M.Bindran, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First to Third Respondents and Mr. P.R.Thiruneelakandan, Learned Counsel for the Fourth Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Second Respondent to implement the order dated 13.04.2022 passed by the First Respondent to recommend suo motu appeal preferred by the Petitioner and cancel the Hereditary Trusteeship of Arulmigu Mariamman Temple, Agaram, Keizpennathur, Thiruvannamalai District held by the Fourth Respondent. 2/5

It is informed that notice has been issued to all parties concerned for enquiry on 11.11.2022 in which the Petitioner and the Fourth Respondent may raise their respective contentions before the Second Respondent, who shall after hearing the parties following the prescribed procedure pass reasoned orders on merits and in accordance with law expeditiously. It is needless to add here that no view has been expressed by the Court on the merits of the controversy involved in the matter.

As nothing remains for further consideration, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid clarifications. No costs. 09.11.2022 skr Index: Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 03.01.2023.
