The applicant herein has filed the suit for declaration that the plaintiff is the lawful owner of the Copyright in respect of Schedule A, B and C films and also for permanent injunction restraining the respondent from infringing the plaintiff's copyright.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of this application, it is asserted by the applicant that he is residing and carrying on business within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court. Hence, under Section 62 of the Copyright Act, he is entitled to present the suit before this Court.

3. In view of the said averment, leave is granted. The application in A.No.1983 of 2023 is ordered.
