ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.427 of 2003 and to file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.427 of 2003 was completed and the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Salem on 31.12.2015, and the same was returned for some defects, and now it is submitted that the final report has been filed on 21.06.2016 and the same has not been taken on file.

4. Under such circumstances, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Salem is directed to pass orders in accordance with law in the final report filed by the Police, if not already passed. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
