Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to depute the competent survey officials to survey and mark the boundaries by metes and bounds in land comprised in Survey No.229/7, Sathya Vijaya Nagaram Village, Arani Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District of extent 17 cents and communicate the report to the petitioner within a time limit to be fixed by this Court. 1/5

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey his land situated in S.No.229/7, Sathya Vijaya Nagaram Village, Arani Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, by considering his application dated 10.12.2023.
2. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property was purchased by the petitioner under a registered sale deed dated 08.11.2020 and he submitted online application dated 22.09.2022 seeking survey of the land and the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. It is also submitted that there was some resistance from the neighbours and hence, the respondent may be directed to survey the property of the petitioner.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that the online application of the petitioner will be considered, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 22.09.2022 and pass final order, on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner as well as other interested parties.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
