The limited prayer sought for by the petitioner is to direct the respondents to defreeze his bank account.
2. By relying on the overt acts attributed to the petitioner herein, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the offences may not be made out against him. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the intention of the petitioner as well as the other accused is to have the funds transferred on various accounts and as on date, there are about 350 victims and the amount could be more than one crore. He would also state that the investigation is still pending.
4. By taking into account that the investigation is pending and also the fact that there can be many other depositors, it would not be appropriate to consider the prayer sought for by the petitioner. Nevertheless, the respondent police shall endeavour to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
