O R D E R
The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Certiorari calling for records pertaining to the proceeding Na.Ka.No.5518/2021/A2 dated 15.12.2021 on the file of the 4th respondent and quash the same.
2. That by proceedings dated 15.12.2021, the 4th respondent has issued a notice to have a Panchayat Union Council meeting to decide a 'No Confidence Motion' given against the petitioner. Challenging the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. However, when the case is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner very fairly submitted that the very petitioner himself, since he changed his mind and he has taken some political decision with a result there would be no effective meeting need to be conducted as proposed through the impugned communication dated 15.12.2021, therefore, virtually the issue raised in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.
4. Heard Mr.R.Shanmugasundaram, learned Advocate General for respondents, who would submit that the impugned communication dated 15.12.2021 since has become infructuous in view of the subsequent development and recording the same, suitable orders can be passed in this writ petition.
5. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is dismissed as nothing survives in this case to pursue further. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
