This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 472 days in filing the appeal.

3. Despite the receipt of notice, neither the respondent has appeared nor represented through his counsel.
4. The petitioner would aver that after the receipt of copy of the Award, the subject matter was placed before the Board and for complying formalities, delay of 472 days occurred in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.
5. The reasons assigned by the petitioner appears to be acceptable. Therefore, this Court is inclined to allow this Civil Miscellaneous Petition on payment of costs of Rs.500/- payable in favour of the High Court Legal Services Authority, Madras High Court, Chennai, on or before 12.11.2025. Failing which, this petition shall stand automatically dismissed without any further reference to this Court.
