ORDER

This civil revision petition arises against an order dated 01.08.2024 made in I.A.No.3 of 2023 in O.S.No.8079 of 2021 on the file of the learned III Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. Heard both sides.

3. I have already passed a detailed order in the connected revision petition in C.R.P.No.3608 of 2024 on 27.09.2024. By that order, I had directed the Fee Fixation Committee to exercise its power in terms of sub-section (3) of Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Schools (Regulation of Collection of Fee) Act, 2009.

4. Mr.M.Purushothaman undertakes to pay a sum of Rs.40,000/- within a period of two months towards the arrears for the period for which the claim has been made by the plaintiff. The said payment is without prejudice to the rights of either the plaintiff or the defendants, it is only an ad hoc arrangement pending disposal of the suit.

5. In terms of the order dated 27.09.2018 made in C.R.P.No.3608 of 2024, this civil revision petition is disposed of directing the Fee Fixation Committee to go into the issue whether the fees demanded by the civil revision petitioner for the academic years 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 are commensurate with the facilities provided by them. No costs. Consequently connected CMP is closed.
