This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the final report in C.C.No.1580 of 2017 on the file of the IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, for the offences under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

2.Today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent/de facto complainant submitted that the trial has commenced in C.C.No.1580 of 2017 and P.W.3 has been examined and the case is to be listed for evidence before the trial Court on 07.01.2022. The learned counsel also produced a copy of e-Court case status of C.C.No.1580 of 2017 to that effect. The submissions made by the learned counsel are recorded.

4.In such view of the matter, it is for the trial Court to appreciate the entire evidence and decide the matter. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
