Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give family pension to the petitioner based on G.O.No.325, dated 28.11.2011 within time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

The petitioner's prayer is for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider her representation dated 31.03.2021 for grant of family pension.
2.Mr.P.Gurunathan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents would have no objection to the suggestion of the Court that the appropriate authority should consider the application and dispose the same expeditiously within a time frame to be fixed. 3.Thus, a direction is issued to the 4th respondent, The Dean, Madras Veterinary College Hospital, Vepery, Chennai to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2021, hear the petitioner and pass orders within a period of six weeks from today. The mandamus as sought for is issued and this writ petition is allowed. No costs.
