This writ petition has been filed to quash the order passed by the second respondent on 3/3/2017, announcing the assumption of direct management by the first respondent.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that remedy for the grievance of the petitioner lies before Wakf Tribunal and not by way of writ petition. Page No:2/4

3. Recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed. If at all the petitioner still wants to pursue his remedy and challenge the possession, he has to approach the Tribunal. If the petitioner approaches the Tribunal, the Tribunal may consider the pendency of the writ petition, to exclude the period of limitation.
