ORDER

The Criminal Revision Case has been filed challenging the judgment dated 21.07.2025 passed in Crl.A.No.168 of 2024 by the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore, confirming the conviction and

sentence imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No. I, Fast Track Court, Coimbatore, in C.C.No.120 of 2021, dated 29.04.2024.

2. The complainant/respondent has filed an affidavit stating that the petitioner has settled the entire amount due to her and has expressed her noobjection for setting aside the conviction and sentence imposed on the petitioner. She has also produced a copy of the settlement agreement entered into between the petitioner and the complainant. The said agreement is taken on record.

3. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, this Court permits the compounding of the offence and sets aside the judgment of conviction and sentence.

4. It is also stated that the petitioner has deposited a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- to the credit of C.C.No.120 of 2021, pursuant to the earlier directions issued by this Court on 05.08.2025. The respondent is permitted to withdraw the said amount.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Revision Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition in Crl.M.P.No.24325 of 2025 stands closed.
