This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.471 of 2018 pending on the file of the first respondent to the second respondent. 2.This Court by an order dated 14.11.2018 in Crl.O.P.No.26325 of 2018 had directed the first respondent herein to complete the investigation and file a final report or closure report expeditiously. At this juncture, the petitioner has filed the present Criminal Original Petition seeking for transfer of investigation from the first respondent to the second respondent. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that now pecuniary value involved in the complaint dated 02.03.2018 given by the petitioner is more that Rs.50,00,000/-. While that being so, it would not be appropriate to the first respondent to continue the investigation since as per the standing instruction of the Police, all complaints having pecuniary value of Rs.50,00,000/- and above require to be investigated only by the Central Crime Branch or District Crime Branch.
