ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The above Writ Petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to survey and demarcate the petitioner's land comprised in Survey Nos.202/1H & 202/1I measuring an extent of 3.30 Ares & 3.30 Ares respectively situated at Pappakudi (North) Village, Udaiyarpalaiyam Taluk, Ariyalur District based on the petitioner's online application No.2025/123/17/004438 dated 07.03.2025.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner made an online application on 07.03.2025 for survey and fixing boundaries of petitioner's land and has also remitted the necessary charges. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4. At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate for Respondents that they will consider petitioner's online application 2/4

and measure the petitioner's land and demarcate the same within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. 5.In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the following directions:

i) The respondents shall consider the online application of petitioner dated 07.03.2025 in accordance with law, after issuing notice and affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and all other interested parties including rival claimants, if any. ii) Though facts have been set out extensively in the affidavit, this Court does not propose to deal with it while leaving it open to the respondents to call for any document/conduct enquiry, if any, while considering the Online application of the petitioner dated 07.03.2025. It is also open to the respondents to call for documents to satisfy itself of the petitioner's entitlement for requesting survey of subject property.

iii) The entire process shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy.

kas iv) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
