O R D E R
The petitioner herein was arrested on 30.05.2025 for the alleged possession of 1.200grams of ganja. This Court granted bail on 23.06.2025 on condition that he deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- by way of Demand Draft to the Ray of Light Foundation, No.10, Nageswara Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai. Since the petitioner is unable to mobilize a sum of Rs.50,000/-, he has filed the present petition seeking modification of the said condition.
2. Taking into consideration that the petitioner has been in prison for about 90 days, and has remained in custody for more than 30 days even after the grant of bail, this Court finds merit in the request.
3. Accordingly, the petition for relaxation is allowed and the condition imposed while granting the bail stands relaxed in toto. 28.08.2025 nvi 2/4
