Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order passed by the third respondent in proceedings Na.Ka.No.639/A1/2016 dated 02.04.2016, quash the same, consequently direct the respondents to pay the increment for the year 1996 and to fix the revised pay scale and revised pension with all consequential monetary benefits to the petitioner. The petitioner, represented by Ms.E.Ranganayaki, learned counsel, has filed a representation dated 15.10.2015 before the 3rd respondent stating that though she was appointed with Selection Grade in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher from 19.08.1996, she was not granted regular increment for that year. She has thus requested the respondents to grant increment for the year 1996 and fix the revised pay scale and revised pension https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with arrears. The representation of the petitioner has been disposed of vide the impugned order vide proceedings Na.Ka.No.639/A1/2016 dated 02.04.2016.

2. However, as fairly stated by Mr.Raja, learned Government Advocate for the respondents, the specific prayer in regard to increment has not even been adverted to in the impugned order. He states that the 3rd respondent may be directed to pass a speaking order in respect of the representation filed by the petitioner.

3. In the light of the above discussion, the impugned order stands set aside. The 3rd respondent will afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and dispose representation dated 15.10.2015 afresh within a period of four

(4) weeks from date of a receipt of the copy of this order.
