ORDER

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner worked as bonded labourer at Ammarpatan District, Madhya Pradash from his childhood age and he was released by the Government on 01.06.1985 along with other bonded labourers, when they were assured that they would be given necessary help from the Government by providing lands for cultivation under Rehabilitation Scheme provided by the Government of Tamilnadu. Now, the petitioner is residing at Mettupalayam, Vadakanandal Post, Chinna Salem Taluk, Villupuram District. In this regard, the petitioner along with one Palanisamy, who is co-bonded labour made various representations to the District Collector, South Arcot District at Cuddalore, but, the same is vain. Thereafter, they made representations dated 23.03.1987 and 30.05.

1988 to the District Collector, requesting him to allot three acres of land and necessary loan and they were allotted agriculture land at Gogiyur, Kallakurichi Taluk, to an extent of 1.16.5 Hectare wide Patta No.1016 at 276 for their cultivations. According to the petitioner, the same is not yielding any result and the same ends in vain. Thereafter, the petitioner made several representations to the respondents seeking employment to his sons. But, the same has not been considered and finally, the petitioner made a representation dated 12.08.2015 to the first respondent for the very same relief. But, the same is still pending. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the narrow prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.08.2015 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
