The prayer in the Criminal Original Petition is to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.0155 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent - Police.

When the matter came up for hearing, the the learned Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent would submit that on 26.05.2025, the final report No. 4 of 2025 has been filed, after completion of the investigation and the said final report is pending consideration by the learned District Judge/ Special Court under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988), Karaikal.
