This Petition has been filed under Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, r/w. Order XXV Rule 6 of Madras High Court Original side Rules, for grant of Succession Certificate to Ranganathan Sowrirajan viz., 4th Petitioner herein, with the power to collect the debts and to receive the interest and dividends on and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule to this Petition.
2.After following due procedure, the Petitioners were invited to tender evidence. Ex.P.11 Certificate under Section 65B of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872. 3.The Petitioners are the wife and sons of Late T.S.Ranganathan respectively. T.S.Ranganathan died on 09.03.2023 at No.8, Bangarammal Street, Mylapore, Cehnani 600 004. The deceased at the time of his death left the Petitioners as his surviving legal heirs as follows: S.No.

Hence, the SBI mutual fund authorities informed the Petitioners to obtain necessary succession certificate from the competent authority to transfer the shares to 2/4
the legal heirs of the deceased. The value assets in respect of which the succession certificate is required, is Rs.22,43,013.66. Hence, the Petitioners claim succession certificate.
5.Though the paper publication has been effected, learned Master has not received any objection. The Petitioners are class I heirs of the deceased. 6.In view of both oral and documentary evidences adduced before this Court, I find no impediment for grant of succession certificate. Hence, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in favour of the fourth Petitioner viz., Ranganatahan Sowrirajan in accordance with the rules.
