This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case on the complaint dated 02.04.2016 given by the petitioners and to investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioners, petition enquiry was conducted and closed by the respondent-police. A copy of the closure report is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioners across the bar.
