By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 1/5

2. The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to conduct survey of the petitioner's property in order to fix the boundaries, by considering the Online Application No.2025/0123/10/005542 dated 11.07.2025 and Representation dated 14.07.2025 submitted by the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner submitted an Online Application No.2025/0123/10/005542 dated 11.07.2025 and paid the necessary fees, for conducting survey of his property comprised in S.F.No.736/1A1 measuring an extent of 1.25 acres situated at Kannadipudhur Kavindapadi, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District and erecting boundary stones to fix the boundaries. Thereafter, petitioner also submitted a Representation dated 14.07.2025 to the respondents, for the very same request, however, the respondents have not yet considered petitioner's request till date. Hence, petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent would consider the petitioner's Online Application dated 11.07.2025 and conduct survey and 2/5

fix boundaries of the subject property within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents has been fairly conceded by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the limited relief sought by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to dispose of this Writ Petition with the following directions: (i) The 1st respondent shall consider the petitioner's Online Application dated 11.07.2025 and representation dated 14.07.2025 in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owner and all other interested parties including rival claimants, if any. (ii) Though facts have been set out extensively in the affidavit, this court does not propose to deal with it while leaving it open to the respondents to call for any document/conduct enquiry to satisfy itself of the petitioner's entitlement for requesting survey of subject property. (iii) The 1st respondent shall complete the entire process within a period of eight weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy of this 3/5

order without waiting for the receipt of a certified copy of this order. (iv) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. Rights and contentions of the petitioner and all other interested parties are left open. No costs.
