Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to ensure that nominations and affidavits filed by the contestants are complete in all respects in all Elections under the light of the authorities of the Hon'ble Apex Court and the Hon'ble High Courts and order of the 1st respondent by conducting special training programme for the Returning Officers within stipulated time.

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner contends that the election officers should be better aware of the various requirements to be complied with in accordance with law and to that extent, learned counsel for the Election Commission states that they will look into the matter.

2.Beyond the aforesaid, we are of the view, no direction is required.

3.Writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.34530 of 2016 is also closed.
