PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2021 sent for rectification of error occurred during the UDR Scheme in respect of the lands in S.F. No.132/1, 132/3 and 135/2 situate at Nagamangalam village, Rayakottai Firka, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District in accordance with law and within a stipulated period.

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 19.07.2021 seeking rectification of error occurred in UDR scheme pertains to property in Survey.Nos. 132/1, 132/3 and 135/2 situated at Nagamangalam Village, Rayakottai Firka, Denkanikottai Taluk,

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the above mentioned property originally belongs to petitioner's father namely Seethappa and the revenue documents also stood in his name in Patta Nos.730 & 24. During UDR 2/5

scheme, the names of some third parties are included in respect of petitioner's property. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 19.07.2021 seeking rectification of revenue records. The 1st respondent, in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.15661/2023/J2 dated 05.07.2023, initiated enquiry and issued summons to the petitioner and other interested parties. However, till date, the enquiry has not been completed and no final orders has been passed.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents 1 and 2, submits that the enquiry will be completed and final order shall be passed on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue direction to the 1st respondent to complete the enquiry and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after affording due opportunity to the petitioner, respondents 3 and 4 and other interested parties. 3/5
