The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.07.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(C) of the NDPS Act in Crime No.297 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is a resident of Odisha State and he was found in possession of 4Kgs of Ganja. Hence the case was registered against the petitioner.

3. It is stated that there has been a previous case against the petitioner and bail was granted in that case, but after getting bail, the petitioner has been again found in possession of 4 Kgs of Ganja. Taking that fact into consideration, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
