ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.6/2014 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Pappireddipatti and quash the same as against the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not ready and this matter has been adjourned thrice before this Court on 08.11.2021, 11.11.2021 and 19.11.2021. Today also the learned counsel for the petitioner is not ready and submitted that he has given change of vakalat and the other new counsel also seeks time.

3. The very conduct of the party clearly indicate that he is avoiding this Bench. When the Court has posed certain questions to avoid unnecessary adjournments, the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the matter. In such view of the matter, this petition is liable to be dismissed.

4. At this stage, Mr.Naveen Chandar, new counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that directions may be issued to the Trial Court to expedite the matter. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. In view of the above, the Trial Court is directed to proceed as per law and dispose of the main case as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
