The petitioner/A1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.07.2025, for the offence under Section 103 of BNS @ 126(2), 3(5), & 103 of BNS, in Crime No.321 of 2025, on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that, despite several warnings given by the first accused/petitioner to his wife, she continued her illicit relationship with one Joseph. Thereby, on the alleged date of occurrence, the first accused along with other accused assaulted the deceased with knife, resulting in her death. Hence the case.

3. The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for the grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for the grant of bail to the petitioner stating that against the petitioner, six previous cases are pending.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of allegations, submissions made by the learned counsels on either side and taking note of the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
