The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representations dated 14.07.2016 and 30.09.2016. 2.Mr.S.Silambanan, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed a complaint dated 14.07.2016 against the 3rd respondent and certain others under the Protection of Senior Citizens Act before the 1st respondent to take action against him. Subsequently, the petitioner gave another representation dated 30.09.2016 before the 1st https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent. However, the said representations were not considered by the 1st respondent so far.
3.Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and dispose of the same in accordance with law.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 14.07.2016 and 30.09.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 3rd respondent and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
