This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register a case and to take an action against the complaint dated 07.09.2022 and also investigate the same in accordance with law. 2.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint alleging that the Life Certificate has been falsely fabricated by one Nallathambi and others and by making use of the same, they have sold away the property belongs to the petitioner and managed to even get a mortgage loan from the bank; but so far, no action has been taken by the respondent police. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent police submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a current paper enquiry has been initiated and CSR.No.1781 of 2022 has been assigned and after enquiry, the same has been closed, on the undertaking given by the petitioner that the matter has been settled between the parties.

5. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no such settlement has been arrived and she has not been called for any enquiry on the complaint given by her.

6. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the way in which her complaint has been dealt by the respondent police, she is at liberty to invoke the proceedings under Section 156(3) and 200 Cr.P.C, in accordance with law, before the appropriate forum.

With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
