This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 22.02.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on account of a group fight between the petitioner and the opposite party with regard to a hotel, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.163 of 2016 for the offence under Section 107 Cr.P.C. and the same has been referred to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Salem for further investigation.
